Find Your Rest Ministries’ First 5K
On May 4, 2024, we hosted our very first annual 5K fundraising event. At 8 a.m., dozens of runners and walkers gathered at the start line at Jefferson Barracks Park. Before we knew it, they were off! We are so excited to have kicked off a new Find Your Rest tradition. Our hope for this event was to bring people together to race for a cause. Delivery for a Barnhart Family in Need
When we learned that a child in Barnhart did not have a bed, we were blessed to be able to step in and help. We delivered a bunk bed and some couches to the family and were able to address some dysfunctional heating and plumbing issues. It’s important to have a place to rest and to keep warm during these winter months! Physical rest is so important, but spiritual rest is essential! Tate’s Story
Recently, Find Your Rest Ministries had the pleasure of meeting a boy named Tate. While getting to know him last summer, we realized that he was wearing broken eye glasses. Tate’s family has been in a rough spot for a while and could not afford to buy him new ones. He was in desperate need of a new pair because he has very poor eyesight. After wearing broken glasses for about six months, we were able to address his need by taking him to the eye doctor and buying him new glasses! We have followed up with Tate and his family multiple times, taking them Bibles, devotionals, groceries, and whatever…

Jesika and Her Grandchildren
We met a new family recently and were able to deliver bunk beds to them in September of 2023. Thank God for Jesika, who is now caring full-time for her sweet grandchildren while working two jobs and keeping up with the demands of life. Find Your Rest Ministries heard her story and was blessed with the chance to meet her and her young grandboys! Jesika is a remarkably sweet lady, and her boys are full of life and energy. Beds for a DeSoto Family in Need
On December 22, 2023, we partnered with Mike from First Baptist Desoto to deliver three bunk beds and a full bed to a home desperately in need. Tiffany recently lost her husband, and her family of nine had only one full mattress and one twin mattress to share between them. God brought us this family to serve, and it was an honor to bless them with all these bunk beds, mattresses, sheets, and Bibles! All of this is possible because of Jesus’ love for His creation!

Dominican Republic 2023
Find Your Rest Ministries was recently blessed with the opportunity to expand our mission to several communities in the Dominican Republic. On July 6, 2023, a small group of volunteers from our home church, Community Bible Church of Pevely, traveled internationally to build and deliver bunk beds while spreading God’s Word. The first day of the trip consisted of lots of wood-working. The team built a saw table for the shed and multiple luggage racks. Build Day with Elkhart Christian Academy
Elkhart Christian Academy volunteered with Find Your Rest on March 27. As a group of all seniors, this group participated in a build day with Find Your Rest for their senior trip. They traveled to the partnering church of Community Bible Church of Pevely to build bunk beds and volunteer in the church and Pevely community. On Sunday morning, they began the day in worshiping the Lord in Community Bible Church of Pevely. Then, they went to work. Elkhart Christian Academy built bunk beds, evangelized to the subdivision, and worked inside the church by cleaning and organizing.
