Build Day with Lake Mead Christian Academy

On March 1, Lake Mead Christian Academy traveled from Henderson, Nevada, to Pevely, Missouri, to participate in a Find Your Rest build day. This group purchased enough lumber to build one bunk bed for the community, and they spent most of the day building. To optimize time and resources, Lake Mead Christian Academy split into groups to perform different tasks, such as sawing, measuring, and sanding.

This group of volunteers did not stop there. After the group finished building beds, they then helped clean the partnering church of Community Bible Church of Pevely. Then, they walked throughout the Pevely community, evangelizing from door to door.

Because of their willingness and enthusiasm to spread the Word of God, a woman allowed them to pray over her and invite her to Community Bible Church of Pevely. Pam has been coming to Sunday service ever since. Praise God for their work and dedication to our Lord!
