In October, Find Your Rest Ministries hosted a build day with a mission group from Shiloh Baptist Church in Ocoee, Tennessee. We are beyond thankful to the volunteers who worked hard to construct three bunk beds. It was a joy to hear the group’s excitement about our ministry and their plan to take our mission home to Tennessee. Thank you, Shiloh Baptist Church!

We were so excited to host a build day with the Seckman High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team on June 3rd. Head coach, Coach Carroll, encourages his players on and off the court. He shared with us that he wants the boys to know there is much more to life than just basketball, and a big priority for him is encouraging them to give back to the community. Thank you to this amazing team and their coach for helping us prep and build bunk beds for families in need. We appreciate all your hard work!

On June 1st, we hosted a build day with Community Bible Church of Pevely. We were able to build eight bunk beds thanks to the hard work of the volunteers. This is a record amount of beds for us in a single day! Dozens of church members worked in stations to cut and stain the wood, assemble the bunk beds, and annotate the Bibles we deliver to the families. This was an awesome day filled with service and fellowship. Thank you to everyone who came out to help!

We are thankful to Community Bible Church (CBC) of Pevely for helping build two bunk beds at our build day on August 22, 2022. CBC of Pevely is also one of our church partners.

Elkhart Christian Academy volunteered with Find Your Rest on March 27. As a group of all seniors, this group participated in a build day with Find Your Rest for their senior trip. They traveled to the partnering church of Community Bible Church of Pevely to build bunk beds and volunteer in the church and Pevely community. On Sunday morning, they began the day in worshiping the Lord in Community Bible Church of Pevely. Then, they went to work. Elkhart Christian Academy built bunk beds, evangelized to the subdivision, and worked inside the church by cleaning and organizing. On March 1, Lake Mead Christian Academy traveled from Henderson, Nevada, to Pevely, Missouri, to participate in a Find Your Rest build day. This group purchased enough lumber to build one bunk bed for the community, and they spent most of the day building. To optimize time and resources, Lake Mead Christian Academy split into groups to perform different tasks, such as sawing, measuring, and sanding. This group of volunteers did not stop there. After the group finished building beds, they then helped clean the partnering church of Community Bible Church of Pevely.
