God recently opened the door for Find Your Rest Ministries to connect with a woman named Della. Della is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, but now lives in the city of St. Louis with her six children who range from five to 16 years old. Della is in great need and has her hands very full. Find Your Rest Ministries recently delivered bunk beds to a woman named Suzanne in Catawissa, MO. Suzanne is the care provider of her grandchildren while their mother is currently unavailable. Though Suzanne was not prepared for this transition, she graciously stepped in to provide for her grandchildren. It was such a blessing to deliver beds to this family and give them the gift of the Gospel! We want to give a special thanks to Jeff Owens from Fellowship Church who partnered with us to make this delivery day happen.

Over the summer, Find Your Rest Ministries had the opportunity to deliver bunk beds to another family in need. Nicole Clipper is one tough lady. Even though life has brought a lot of difficult circumstances her way, God continues to give her strength and perseverance. As a mom of six, Nicole works hard cleaning houses to support and take care of her family. It was such a blessing to provide bunk beds to her and her children. We also want to say thank you to Becky and Tony Virgin from Community Bible Church of Pevely for partnering with Find Your Rest Ministries for this delivery day.

In May, Find Your Rest Ministries had the opportunity to deliver a bed and a dining table to a woman named Oreonya and her family. They were such a sweet family who we were happy to help!

When we learned that a child in Barnhart did not have a bed, we were blessed to be able to step in and help. We delivered a bunk bed and some couches to the family and were able to address some dysfunctional heating and plumbing issues. It’s important to have a place to rest and to keep warm during these winter months! Physical rest is so important, but spiritual rest is essential! Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” True rest and peace is found only in Jesus! We thank our Lord for allowing us to join…

We met a new family recently and were able to deliver bunk beds to them in September of 2023. Thank God for Jesika, who is now caring full-time for her sweet grandchildren while working two jobs and keeping up with the demands of life. Find Your Rest Ministries heard her story and was blessed with the chance to meet her and her young grandboys! Jesika is a remarkably sweet lady, and her boys are full of life and energy. Please remember this family in your prayers and pray for FYR to get more opportunities to share the love of Jesus and His saving grace!

On December 22, 2023, we partnered with Mike from First Baptist Desoto to deliver three bunk beds and a full bed to a home desperately in need. Tiffany recently lost her husband, and her family of nine had only one full mattress and one twin mattress to share between them. God brought us this family to serve, and it was an honor to bless them with all these bunk beds, mattresses, sheets, and Bibles! All of this is possible because of Jesus’ love for His creation!
