First Build Day with Victory Christian Academy

On May 26, Find Your Rest had its first build day with Victory Christian Academy (VCA), which aimed to prepare the ministry for its upcoming mission trip to Harlan, KY. VCA brought its youth group–a group of about 15–who were a tremendous help to Find Your Rest’s bunk bed initiative. The volunteers divided into groups to preform relatively simple tasks that would eventually lead to the completion of various bunk bed parts. As pictured below, these tasks included cutting wood, drilling pieces together, and sanding the imperfections. The parts built during this build day will be assembled into the homes of families in the future, providing Find Your Rest with an opening to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
